Bengel BBQ

Ahhh, the Bengel Barbecue. If you love meat on a stick this place is for you! It is located in Adventureland across from Indiana Jones.
They have fantastic chicken or beef skewers for those who like the spicy or the sweet.
They also have the greatest giant pretzels in the shape of Mickey's head.

Indiana Jones Adventure

Indiana Jones Adventure opened back in1995. It is the attraction with the highest height requirement, 48 inches.
The line for this ride is always long but the queue is fun to look at. It has artifacts and wall drawings too.
It is a thrill ride with lots of twists and turns. It is a little scary so prepare your younger kids before riding. If you have seen the Indiana Jones movies then this ride will make much more sense.
You can get a fast pass for this ride but my suggestion is, if the line is under 25 minutes don't bother getting a fast pass to come back. The line moves quickly and there is entertainment along the wait, so it really doesn't feel very long.

Enchanted Tiki Room

Just past the AdventureLand sign to your left is the Enchanted Tiki Room. Now I know most people just keep on walking right past it, but it is a must on our trips. It originally opened in the summer of 1963. Dole Pineapple is the sponsor of the attraction.
Inside the Tiki Room is a animatronic performance of birds, flowers, and tikis. It is cool in the summer, and a great place to rest and put your feet up. We like to go there when we are hot and tired.
Before you go into the show, you must buy a Dole Whip Float. It is soft serve pineapple icecream in fresh pineapple juice. So good! A tip here is to go to the Dole stand line inside the attraction. It is much shorter than the line on the outside.
We always sit in the one of the back rows of the theater in the bench seats so we can put out feet up. The corner of the bench is my favorite spot! The show lasts about 15 minutes. The perfect length for a rest.

Jungle Cruise

Jungle Cruise is the ride we love to ride first. It has been open from the very beginning of Disneyland. It is one of those rides that the whole family can ride together, and if you get a good skipper, it is very comical. Andy and Kate have taken a picture in front of the Boat sign every trip. It is their little tradition.
